๐Ÿค” What do you believe? Clarify your worldview this month for your spiritual wellness!

LGBTQ community. Tools for spiritual wellness. Religion not included.

Hi Reader,

If I asked you, "What do you believe?" how easily and clearly would you be able to tell me your worldview?

It's no small task!

This affects your wellness more than you probably think it does.

A worldview is a comprehensive set of beliefs, values, and perspectives through which one interprets and makes sense of the world.

Knowing your worldview is focusing on the โ€œwhyโ€ of your life. Your worldview influences your thoughts, behaviors, decisions, and how you interact with others and the world. It is impossible to embody your beliefs in your everyday life without knowing what you believe. How can you "walk your talk" with integrity if you aren't even sure what your "talk" really is? In the SEEKER Method, we specifically try to question and clarify our personal values, moral foundation, and spiritual beliefs.

12 Benefits of Knowing Your Worldview

  1. Reduces stress
  2. Provides clarity
  3. Strengthens self-awareness
  4. Increases confidence making decisions
  5. Gives your life direction
  6. Enhances critical thinking
  7. Cultivates empathy and understanding
  8. Provides a foundation for personal growth
  9. Helps to process loss
  10. Cultivates inner peace
  11. Strengthens sense of identity
  12. Boosts overall wellness

This Month's Theme: ๐Ÿค” Know Your Worldview

Every month in the Seek Together community we turn our focus to a new aspect of the SEEKER Method. This month is - you guessed it! - Know Your Worldview. Members will engage through responding to the Daily Questions, participating in the Theme Thursdays group coaching, and reflecting with their buddies. I invite you to reflect on your worldview. Ask yourself the following questions:

  • How do I know when a belief is True for me?
  • What most helps me know my worldview?
  • What are my top five values?
  • Which moral codes inspire me to choose right over wrong?
  • What is the ultimate spiritual goal and what is necessary to achieve it?
  • What do I believe about destiny and free will?
  • What do I believe about the afterlife?

Blessings on your exploration of this month's theme and on your path!

๐Ÿ“– Book [Soft] Launch!

I've been working hard on my new book, The SEEKER Method for Spiritual Wellness Exercise Book. It is filled with lessons, tips, reflection questions, and exercises for exploring each aspect of the SEEKER Method. On April 7th, my birthday, I will make the ebook version available to members of the Seek Together community for FREE! In the very near future, I will also add a spiral-bound print book version available to purchase to members and non-members. That way, anyone will be able to take advantage of this fun, non-religious tool for nurturing your spiritual wellness. Keep an eye out for these newsletters in your inbox for further updates.

How is Your Spiritual Wellness?

Based on 25+ years of experience and study of religion and spirituality, I have created the internet's premier non-religious spiritual wellness self-assessment. It is applicable to most spiritual identities. It is made up of 32 questions about your actions and your feelings concerning your spirituality from the previous two weeks. Upon completion of the assessment you are emailed a rating of Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, or Excellent with the number of points you have received. This completely removes the guesswork out of discerning your spiritual wellness! You can even repeat this assessment every 2-4 weeks in order to track your spiritual growth and see your progress. And it's FREE!

LGBTQ+ ๐Ÿณ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ Spiritual Community Hi Reader, You are not alone. No one is alone. The Divine has your back! In the Seek Together community, we use "the Divine" as an umbrella term for a spiritual being or beings with whom we have a personal relationship. The Divine can be known to us as deities, spirit guides, ancestors, devas, angels, elementals, fairies, power animals, or the Ultimate Self - or all of these! I particularly like this term because it can be singular or plural and any gender or no...

LGBTQ+ ๐Ÿณ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ Spiritual Community Hi Reader, One of the benefits of being a member of the Seek Together Community is making a #BlessRequest on our member platform. We believe it is possible that we are each capable of accessing spiritual energy we can use to bless, heal, and influence change in our lives. This gives all of us an opportunity to serve each other spiritually when someone or their loved one is going through a challenge. And the recipient gets blessings, positive thoughts, and good...

LGBTQ+ ๐Ÿณ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ Spiritual Community Hi Reader, I don't have to tell you that the entire American LGBTQ+ community - especially our transgender siblings - have been navigating a truly frightening time these last weeks. I have been having moments of panic and overwhelm myself. One thing that has been supporting me and keeping me grounded and centered are my spiritual practices, or as I like to call them "rituals." Rituals are a series of repeated, intentional actions that make meaning and honor...
